Vastu Shastra basics

Vastu Shastra is the traditional Indian science of architecture. It aligns a building with the eight directions and the five elements: water in the North-East, fire in the South-East, earth in the South-West, air in the North-West and space at the centre (Brahmasthan). A home planned this way is believed to support health, harmony and prosperity.

You don’t need to rebuild to benefit. Start with the main door, the kitchen, the master bedroom and the North-East corner, and keep the centre open and clutter-free.
