- Below 18: not recommended by tradition.
- 18–24: acceptable.
- 25–32: very good.
- 33–36: excellent.

Is kundli matching possible without birth time?
An approximate match is possible with dates only, since the Moon sign changes every two days. Exact times make the nakshatras and Manglik check reliable.
Is this the same as porutham?
South Indian porutham (thirumana porutham) uses a ten-factor system; Ashtakoot is the North Indian eight-factor system. Both are based on the nakshatras.
